Motivation
The solution of the mathematical equations that rule the behaviour of the cardiovascular system require advanced computational methods. Simulations can be too computationally demanding or not robust enough to be translated into clinical application.
Our approach
CMIB develops methods for an efficient and stable simulation of cardiac physiology. We specifically focus on the mechanical simulation using high order interpolation meshes, and on novel methods to solve the Navier Stokes fluid equation from discrete and noisy observations of velocity.
